3 Inch Narmadeshwar Shivling
₹1,499 – ₹11,999
The size most home mandirs end up with. Big enough that the stone reads as a presence across the room, small enough that abhishekam water still drains into a normal thali.

About the 3–4 Inch size
Three to four inches is where the Jaldhara stops being an accessory and becomes part of the murti. Our 3 inch sets pair with a 5 inch brass Jaldhara and the 4 inch sets with a 6 inch black marble Yoni Pitha, both wide enough that a full lota of water drains cleanly through the spout rather than pooling around the base.
This range is also where the natural markings start to show properly. A 3 inch stone has enough surface for a Janeu line to run the full height of the Linga, which on a 2 inch stone is often cropped by the curve.
For a family mandir where more than one person does the puja, this is the size that stays practical: heavy enough not to shift when you pour, light enough to lift out for cleaning with one hand.
Who this size suits
- A family mandir used by more than one person
- Full jalabhishekam with a lota rather than a spoon
- Anyone who wants the Janeu or Tripundra markings clearly visible
- A standing wooden mandir with a shelf of normal depth

Common questions
Which size Shivling is best for a home mandir?
Three to four inches suits most homes. It is large enough for full abhishekam with a lota and for the natural markings to show, and still small enough to sit on a standard mandir shelf beside the other murtis.
Does the 3 inch set come with a brass or a stone Jaldhara?
Our 3 inch set ships with a 5 inch pure brass Jaldhara, and the 4 inch set with a hand-carved black marble Yoni Pitha. Each listing names the base it comes with.
